Fostering Peace and Religious Freedom in a

Turbulent World is a Monumental Task

 

     Peace-building is a vital responsibility of both religions and governments. Consistent repudiation of terrorism, religious persecution, and racial injustice are critical in fostering peace within the international community.  Through its Dove of Peace Award the Embassy has given recognition to outstanding community leaders and heads of State for their leadership in promoting peace and religious freedom. 

     The Embassy for World Peace has given recognition to outstanding community leaders and heads of State for their leadership in promoting peace and religious freedom. King Zwelithini Goodwill was presented this outstanding award at the nation’s first Independence Day Celebration for the peoples of Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa.  The Presidents of Zambia and Kenya have also received this award, as well as numerous outstanding community leaders in the United States.
