Middle East: “Pray for peace, but prepare for war"
U.S. warns Israel not to launch pre-emptive strike against Iran!
After the latest U.N. report found credible evidence that Iran is moving steadily towards building and deploying nuclear weapons. The United States still opposes any Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
The Israelis are getting anxious, and believe time is running out. “The international community must stop Iran before it’s too late," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned in his U.N. speech last month. "If Iran is not stopped, we will all face the specter of nuclear terrorism, and the Arab Spring could soon become an Iranian winter….The world around Israel is definitely becoming more dangerous."
Iran's leaders continue to espouse apocalyptic beliefs about the End of Days, the coming of the Twelfth Imam, and the rise of an Islamic caliphate, while they long for the annihilation of Israel (the so-called "Little Satan") and the United States (the so-called "Great Satan"). In their eyes, this justifies their war actions.
Secret covert war with Iran underway?
There is definitely an increase in covert action with Iran which has received the approval of the U.S. President. We are engaged with the Israeli's and the British in assassinations and the blowing up Iran's nuclear site. The covert war began with the stuxnet and other viruses which invaded the Iranian nuclear sites.
The U.S. has been preparing for war with Iran in Iraq for years. We built runways in Iraq pointing toward Iran.
A top military source in Israel is confirming that the war with Iran has already begun. The “accidental” explosions that rocked Iran on Nov. 12th, one near the nuclear enrichment facility in Isfahan and another at a missile base, are the initial salvos in the war to stop Iran from gaining nuclear weapons. These beginning stages are being carried out by specially trained covert ops teams with high-tech equipment; full-on attacks with planes and missiles will follow.
Israel is at great risk and will face harsh retaliation for taking action to stop Iran, but the risk of doing nothing is even greater. The New York Times reported the huge explosion that destroyed a major missile-testing site near Tehran three weeks ago was a major setback for Iran’s most advanced long-range missile program, according to American and Israeli intelligence officials and missile technology experts.
Israel’s Intelligence Minister Dan Meridor, in an interview with Israel’s Army radio, refused to say whether Israel was behind the recent explosions at Iranian military facilities. He did say, "There are countries who impose economic sanctions, and there are countries who act in other ways." Israel’s silent war to halt Iran’s nuclear weapons program must continue and must succeed if Israel is to survive. Atomic weapons in the hands of the mad mullahs of Tehran mean certain death for the Jewish state. But there are other grave threats to Israel that are not making the headlines.
During Thanksgiving week, France, Great Britain, Canada and the U.S. imposed new economic sanctions on Iran. The goal: to try to force Iran's economy to its knees, with the hopes that Iran's current government -- or a new one -- will be forced to give up its nuclear weapons ambitions to get its economy growing again. French President Nicolas Sarkozy, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, to their credit, took a tougher stance that President Obama. They imposed sanctions on Iran's Central Bank. They also called all nations of goodwill to follow their lead.
A few days later, in a scene reminiscent of the Iranian hostage crisis of 1979 and 1980, mobs of protestors overran the British embassy in Tehran this week. At least six embassy staffers were reportedly taken hostage for a brief period of time before being rescued by police. The protestors looted the British embassy.
Israel's neighbors.....Palestinians angrily reject new negotiations
A statement released on Dec. 4th by the Palestinian Authority reiterated its opposition to hold direct peace talks with Israel, in reaction to a statement by US State Department spokesman Mark Toner last Friday that Israel and the Palestinians must start direct talks before there can be any negotiation on borders and security.
Syria: Many people fear that the Assad government will launch an attack on Israel in order to unify the people and divert attention from their brutality and incompetence. Syria not only has a highly advanced military but also massive stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons as well. The support of nations like Russia, willing to sell weapons of death to murderous regimes for profit, makes them an even more dangerous adversary for Israel. (Read Isaiah chapter 17)
Despite a call for an arms embargo of the brutal Assad regime in Damascus which has killed more than 4,000 of its own people in a desperate attempt to cling to power, Russia has delivered a major shipment of advanced cruise missiles to Syria. These missiles, designed specifically to strike at ships, pose a serious threat to Israel’s Navy. Hezbollah used a less advanced missile during the 2006 war to kill four sailors on the INS Hanit.
What role will America play? Will we be there for Israel?
In early December, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said, "I want to be clear, that Israel can count on three enduring pillars of U.S. policy in the region, all of which contribute directly to the safety and prosperity of the Israeli people: first, our unshakeable commitment to Israel's security, second, our broader commitment to regional stability, and third, our determination to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. We need to pray the Obama Administration keeps this commitment.
The Epicenter is on the brink of a new major war that will affect the entire world.
The Lord has called us to Blow the Trumpet and Wake Up the Church to stand in the gap for Israel. With our media campaign we are warning the leaders of the world that God’s curse will follow their actions to curse Israel.
Join with us and pray that Jews in Muslim countries will escape because they will be targeted for death. Pray for provision for the needs of impoverished Jews living in Israel, especially children and the elderly. One in five Jews do not have sufficient food to eat and many more are malnourished.
There are also the 8 million Coptic Christians in Egypt. Thousands of Iraqi Christians have received exit visas for religious persecution reasons.
The Lord spoke to His people through the Prophet Joel:
“Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up,” (Joel 3:9).
“Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, For it is at hand…” (Joel 2:1).
“Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room. Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the porch and the altar…” (Joel 2:15-17).
We must be FAITHFUL in teaching the Word God in order to: educate and mobilize the Church to bless Israel and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem; to strengthen the persecuted followers of Jesus Christ in the Middle East and encourage Israelis and Palestinians to rediscover the power of Holy Scriptures and obey every command of the Lord -- after all, as the Hebrew Scriptures teach us: "The word of the Lord came to Joel, son of Pethuel: Hear this, O elders, and listen, all inhabitants of the land....'Wake up, you drunkards!'....Blow a trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm on My holy mountain!
We must NOT GROW WEARY in well-doing -- it is not easy to stand with Israel, or be a true blessing to the Jewish and Palestinian people, or be a follower of Jesus Christ in the Middle East, but now is not a time to get discouraged or fall asleep on the job, or get distracted, or question whether the Lord hears our prayers and will answer them with power....to the contrary, now is the time to trust the Lord will all of our heart, soul, mind and strength and to remember that we serve a prayer-hearing and a prayer-answering God, a wonder-working God.
Here are some Scriptures we need to keep in mind during this coming year:
Ezekiel 38:7 – “Get ready, be prepared.”
Psalm 40:10 -- "I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation."
Isaiah 26:2 -- “Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter, The one that remains faithful."
Luke 16:10 -- "He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much."

Sept. 27, 2011--Western liberal democratic civilization is under assault by the forces of shariah Islam. The so-called “Arab Spring” that swept across the Middle East in 2011, while encompassing the hopes and dreams of millions who seek freedom from tyranny, unfortunately has been commandeered for the violent phase of the Islamic Awakening that began in the 20th century.
The jihadist drivers of that Islamic movement seek the re-establishment of the caliphate and global imposition of Islamic law. They are determined and sophisticated, deftly deploying information warfare to co-opt and neutralize what little remains of Western defenses.
There will be no democratic transformation of the Arab Middle East until and unless the United States and all who treasure the principles of equality, individual liberty, pluralism, and tolerance as understood through exercise of human reason begin to champion those ideals and confront those who are willing to fight and kill and die for Islam not just on the kinetic battlefield but in the far more important War of Ideas. The war we fight is far along at this point: shariah is advancing not only across North Africa and the Middle East, but throughout the Western world as well.
Jihadi terror and violence on the physical battlefields of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and the streets of Jerusalem, London, and New York are important to the enemy but secondary to the ideological confrontation taking place inside Europe and the U.S.

The Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda and Terrorism
A Muslim Brotherhood-led Middle East would cripple the entire world and offset the balance of military power in the region jeopardizing Israel. Pray for a peaceful transition throughout the epicenter.
The savior-thief Al-Qaradawi's entry into the new Egypt and his selection to lead Friday prayers in the square are an ominous sign of where the Egyptian revolution may lead. He has a television show called “Sharia and Life” with an estimated audience of 40 million. He routinely attacks Christians, Jews, the U.S., Israel and Muslims who he deems are insufficiently committed to Jihad. Hitler is one of his favorite historical figures.
Al-Qaradawi is nicknamed the Egyptian Hitler. He is part of the Muslim Brotherhood that wants to turn Egypt into an Islamic state with sharia law. We need to pray the same mistake made in Iran may well be repeated in Egypt. (Read more: www.walidshoebat.com/blog)
Pray that during the changing of the guard in these dictatorial kingdoms, they will not become Muslim theocracies. Pray for more democratic governments to be formed in the Middle East region that will allow freedom of expression and religious tolerance. That these Arab countries will be able to avoid the fate of becoming a second Lebanon or Gaza. It is crucial that the Muslim Brotherhood must not attain power.
Isaiah 19 describes a revived Egypt. The war described in Ezekiel 38, and 39 do not include Egypt as one of the anti-Semitic nations that attack Israel with the Russian--Iranian alliance. The Church should be using this window of time to do everything possible to get the gospel into Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cautioned that the Middle East is going through a period of instability that may last for many years. Netanyahu also claims that "The entire world told us the reason for instability in the Middle East is the Israel-Palestinian conflict. We begged to differ. There is a problem here that we wish to solve, but we must take the Islamic extremists – who are spreading everywhere – into account." Britain's prime minister David Cameron backs him up on this statement.
In the recent days, we have seen renewed attacks against Israel, America's most cherished and reliable ally in the Middle East.
After several years of relative peace -- following an unofficial ceasefire with Hamas in 2008 -- militants have launched devastating attacks on the Israeli people, firing rockets into Israeli cities and carrying out a deadly bomb blast at a bus station.
Islamic Jihad -- a Hamas terrorist ally in Gaza -- has taken credit for these brutal rocket attacks on Israeli civilians.
America's President Obama is playing with fire by going against the living God's nation, Israel. He is like Saul who has lost his anointing. The 2010 election was God orchestrating a changing of the guard in America. The new guard is attempting to overturn the bad laws that were passed against the will of the American people. Reformation has begun, but there is much yet to overcome.
Israel's modern-day restoration has happened against the tide of history because it enjoys biblical significance and God's favor. The God of the Bible watches over Israel day and night and is deeply involved in her well being. Indeed, He warns the world not to divide the land He bequeathed to Israel. To disregard this great purpose and warning of God is foolishness, as we are dealing with His ancient people who have faced this exact type of conflict time and time again in their long journey spanning some four thousand years.
We stress the importance of praying that peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan don’t 'evaporate' like the relations Israel once had with Turkey and Iran.
Israel is the vehicle of world redemption and has given birth to a moral code that has made much of the world great. She has birthed and gifted to the world the greatest and most loved Man that ever lived. We who claim to love her and stand by her should be careful, yes very careful, lest we too find ourselves in conflict with the God of Heaven!
What is the Church's Role in the Shaking of the Nations?
The Gates of Hell will not prevail against His Church, but the Church in America must hear what is being said in Heaven, so we can declare it on earth. Jesus has given the Church the keys (revelation) to bind and loose.
It is vital for Christians to stand on the Lord's side of the battle! The captain of the Lord’s host himself appeared to Joshua outside Jericho to inspire and direct him before the battle (Joshua 5:13–15). In Hebrews 2:10 Christ is called the captain of our salvation, and a leader and commander to the people in Isaiah 55:4. We need to pray that the changes unfolding in the region head in the right direction.... God's will be done! Ask the Holy Spirit for direction.
God is calling men and women to stand in the gap......
Ezekiel 22:30, “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”
For most people, uncertainty creates anxiety. But followers of Jesus Christ need to stay focused on that Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He alone is sovereign. He "removes kings and establishes kings," as the Hebrew Prophet Daniel wrote in Daniel 2:21.
Join together in prayer for our nation with saints across the country along the lines as those Nehemiah offered for Israel when God called him to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. I feel extremely convicted that God's people must get on their knees, seek Him, repent, and pray for this country like never before. We are at a crucial time here in the United States that without Divine intervention, we are in jeopardy of losing our own republic.
God cannot ignore our sins any longer, the holocaust of our infants, our perversion, our immorality, our pride, has filled our "cup of iniquity." Just because our laws permit infanticide, does not change God's Law one iota! It is time to call our nation to repentance. I hope there is yet time!
If God's people will respond to 2 Chronicles 7:14, and get on their knees to repent before the living God, I believe you will see the hand of God protecting the nation. America has slipped so far that we need a Nineveh type revival. America was set apart for a special purpose which we haven't finished yet. As long as the citizens that inhabit the land return to God and try to serve him and be moral, we can expect his protection.

The Arab Spring or Arab Revolutions
We must pray that God's mercy and grace will be poured out upon the people in the Middle East, so the revolutions will bring about a season of spiritual reformation in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, and Bahrain.
Iran's president Ahmadinejad claims his 12th Imam is orchestrating the turmoil in the Arab world. Rulers are being toppled and a new Middle East is taking form, but Ahmadinejad is wrong about his Mahdi causing these changes. He hasn't read the Bible.
Psalm 2 tells us how God is in charge of these rebellious nations. Wait and see how the Lord will conclude this shaking!
Some say the “globalists” are creating the shift of power in these Middle East kingdoms to establish an “open society.” The world holds its breath watching what will happen in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The fall of the Saudi kingdom and OPEC will cause the US dollar to collapse. Bahrain is a proxy battle ground for Iran and Saudi Arabia, which would give Iran an upper hand with Saudi Arabia.
Where the War of Gog and Magog are described in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39, we read that Libya is one of the nations that joins the Russian-Iranian alliance against Israel in “the last days.” In this prophecy, Ezekiel uses the name “Put” which is “ancient Libyos” which included the modern states of Algeria and Tunisia. According to scripture, these countries will have deadly anti-Semitic and anti-Israel leadership who will eagerly join a coalition bent on destroying the Jews and occupy the land of Israel.

The Muslim Brotherhood and Terrorism

The Middle East upset is about dictators who have outlived their usefulness to the world and their people, and apparently the policy makers in Washington know the next regimes are to be the Muslim Brotherhood.
Fundamentalist Islam is acceptable among the masses who support Sharia Law. They are accepting the acclaimed return of Muslim Brotherhood clerical leaders like Sheik Yousef Al Qaradawi to Egypt and Rashid Al-Ghanushi to Tunisia who up to recently were in forced exile by the now defunct dictators.
Former terrorist Walid Shoebat says, "The savior-thief (Al-Qaradawi) set a turning point in Egypt’s revolution paralleling the Iranian revolution when Khomeini came back from exile to rob Iran from the Shah switching one dictator with another much worse."
Al-Qaradawi is a Qatar-based scholar who supports Palestinian suicide bombings and was banned from Egypt under Mubarak. He is nicknamed the Egyptian Hitler, and is part of the Muslim Brotherhood that wants to turn Egypt into an Islamic state with sharia law. We need to pray the same mistake made in Iran may well be repeated in Egypt.
Walid Shoebat continues: "Our State controlled media and our foreign policy makers see the writing on the wall and are preparing the gullible public for the “peaceful” Muslim Brotherhood. Who knew? Usama Bin Laden, Ayman Al Zawahiri the chief conspirators of the 911 attacks stem from the Muslim Brotherhood; so we are now to believe that ten years later it has evolved into a peaceful cuddly organization who we can do business. We must continue to do business in the Middle East even if it is the Muslim Brotherhood, as the inane policies of the last sixty years has us addicted to foreign oil, which we have allowed to endanger our national security interests and to be subservient to the whims of evil.

The Sifting and Shifting of Nations
Psalms 2:1-3, "Why do the nations rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth…and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and His anointed saying, Let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us." God's response includes derision and judgment (v. 4-5).
Every day we hear the news media reporting on financial meltdowns, global currency, and the possibility of a second Great Depression or recession. The U.S. government and governments of the world are buying up entire industries to keep them from collapsing. Economists call this nationalization of business and industries for the "benefit" of the people.
The financial crisis has moved us deeper into a one world economic system and, ultimately, a one world government. It was Karl Marx, the father of Communism who said, "The government should own the means of production." From an economic standpoint this is socialism, Fascism or Communism.
Millions of Americans and people from every nation will willingly give up their sovereignty and their national currency if they thought it would save their economic system and continue to provide, food, clothing, shelter, and even luxuries.
The current financial crisis could easily bring in a global currency or an "amero" dollar. A new world empire is arising on the horizon exactly as the ancient Hebrew prophet Daniel described as the Fourth Beast or, what scholars call, the "Revived Roman Empire."
We must take the veil taken off our eyes and see the light of truth
We are living in the time when this one world economic system is being put into place, which will bring about a cashless society and an implantable microchip into the body of every person in the world. This massive national and global transformation could happen overnight given the right crisis.
Former Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, has said, that crisis, such as a global terrorism, global economic upheaval, and global environment deterioration will require moving beyon-d the nation and national sovereignty. In a 2009 London Time's article, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said, "You don't want a good crisis to go to waste."
We are facing one of the world's greatest financial meltdowns. The American dollar is being challenged as the world's currency. Cities from Europe and around the globe are calling for competing currencies or a global currency and a one world economic system.
Many fear these events will lead to a global economic collapse, riots, anarchy, and world wide panic. In the face of these probabilities, governments around the world are prepared to take drastic measures to keep the system running.
All the infrastructure, laws, technology, police, armies, technology, media and governments are ready for this radical transformation. When the world goes through these crisis, the world follow a charismatic leader and Israel will sign a seven year peace treaty with this leader.
Emergence of the Muslim Union and Sharia Law
At the same time the world is experiencing economic chaos, Arab nations in the Middle East are organizing their Muslim Union to prepare for their future strike against Israel. The world "prepare" (Wa-a-iddou) is a single Arabic word that appears on the Egyptian-based Muslim Brotherhood's logo written under the sign of the two swords, the symbol of Islamic Jihad. "Prepare" actually comes from the Quaranic verse:
"Prepare against them as you are able of force and cavalry to terrorize Allah's enemy and yours. …" (Al-Anfal:60)
Warfare and terror is their motto. It started when many Egyptians were angered at Arabia's collaboration with the West in the dismantling of the Ottoman Empire, especially since the Caliphate fell with it. That dismantling was the primary reason the Muslim Brotherhood was created four years later in 1928; its sole purpose was the resurrection of the Caliphate.
The Brotherhood gave birth to the terror organizations Hamas and al Qaeda. In the US, they operate under many front organizations like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islam in North America (ISNA), the Muslim Student Association, and the Muslim Public Council.
The Trojan Horse in the United States

Author Walid Shoebat explains this is the peaceful version of Islam. They have entered into the Trojan horse, which is government.
The enemy is within our gates. He has entered in our educational system, our media, our government-controlled laws, our military, our churches, our moral laws, our fashions, and our entertainment. Since September 11, 2001 Jihad terorist attack on US soil, our government has demanded we remain politically correct toward Islamic Jihad.
The US government knows Islam is not a "religion of peace" and squashes internal reporting of this fact. God loves Muslim people, but there is no doubt He hates the evil of Islam. The sacred texts of the Koran lay bare an authentic conspiracy aimed at establishing worldwide the totalitarian, supremacist poltico-military-legal program known as Shari'a.
The Muslim Brotherhood has a long term global strategy and is well organized. They have hundreds of front groups that support their public relations and research arm in Britain, Europe and the United States.
The FBI, Dept. of Defense, State Dept. and Dept. of Home Security interface with these radical Muslim groups, who are invited to sit in on their brainstorming sessions to learn of U.S. investigative techniques, to make sure they are not offensive to these Muslim groups. Muslim radical groups like CAIR train our counter-terrorism forces in their field offices.
The US Defense Department even brought Islamic scholar Louay Safi to Ft. Hood right after the massacre; he was invited to work as an instructor lecturing on Islamic sensitives. Safe held a top official status at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a Muslim Brotherhood front. He also advocates direct talks between Washington and Iran's leaders.
Muslims say one thing in English and another in Arabic. Author Walid Shoebat says, "When one looks into Safi's Arabic statements, he calls "peaceful resistance" as "the most effective method." He calls for "change" to introduce modernization of thought by Muslims worldwide, not to adopt Western-style secularism but to use it in order to advance Shari'a."
Shoebat continues: "On the one side you have 'war' (Hamas, al-Qaida) and on the other you have a 'peaceful resistance' (the uprising in Egypt and Tunisia) all going hand in hand, playing good-cop versus bad-cop. The plan is being executed, and the West, which sees freedom slogans in Egypt's streets, is taking the bait – hook, line and sinker."

England and Europe are classic examples. Britain, France, Germany's leaders have already spoken out that multiculturalism does not work!
Shari'a finance is a Trojan Horse that now influences government institutions in Britain, Europe and the US. We know Christians working within US government agencies that are being trained on adopting Shari'a Law. Since 2008, the Saudi's have been demanding that Sharia finance operate within financial institutions like the Federal Reserve, World Bank, and the US Treasury. Islamic finance prohibits making money off of money (interest) and avoids investments in "unethical" industries such as gambling, alcohol, or pork. Shari'a-compliant firms must also purify themselves through zakat, the charitable contributions that compromise one of the five pillars of Islam. Zakat helps fund terrorism. This is a subversive Islamist agenda carried out under the Shari'a finance guise.
The goal of implementing "Shari'a" law is a clear and present danger to the US. Although laws have been implemented to cut off Shari'a's acceptance and adoption in America, federal judges have ruled against these laws in direct dereliction of their duty to the American Constitution. US Conservative Movement being infiltrated: The American Conservative Union, the sponsors of CPAC are now welcoming the "Muslim" agenda -- to the deep consternation and concern of many. This infiltration is orchestrated by the Muslim Brotherhood which intends to destroy conservatives from within.
Chrislam: Interfaith dialogue is a strategem for coopting and influencing the clerical leaders of other faiths. Prominent evangelicals and clerics are embracing Islam in church services and joining interfaith groups like the "Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding" located at Georgetown University.
Through "peace" this rising dragon will deceive many by trumpeting non-violence. It is this moderate form of Islam that the West needs to fear. "Political," not religious management is what the Muslim Brotherhood seeks through the establishment of a "state" in addition to religious worship. (Rev. 13:2,4,11; 16:13)

How do we stop the global agenda of radical Islam?
The political domination that the "spirit of Islam" is attempting, must be stopped spiritually, politically, and in every possible way for the safety, security and promise of our children and our nation.
A Christian perspective on this is still rooted and founded in Romans 13: our "civil government" is purposed by God to protect, defend, and maintain order. For some, that may present a "conflict" between the Christian's heart of love vs. the consequences of violent assault by tragically deceived, but none-the-less dangerous people.
There is a place for grace until the innocent are threatened. Our civil government "does not bear the sword for nothing." It in fact exists to bear the sword "for" something, and the most basic meaning of this is defending the innocent against attack.
It is now time for the Church of Jesus Christ to lift up the "rod of iron" to restrain evil. (Psalm 2:9; 2 Thes. 2:7) In Revelation 1:16 we find that out of Jesus’ mouth goes a sharp two-edged sword. In Revelation 19:15 we find out exactly what He does with it. We are told, “That out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations.”
The sword of Jesus’ rule is expressed as a result of the prayers of God’s people. As we pray in concert with the Holy Spirit, Jesus strikes the resistance. David asked God to strike the enemy. We can ask God to remove all resistance. We pray Spirit-led prayers and speak to the mountain allowing God to remove it! Why are we nicer than God? How does tradition so rule the American church as to turn us into ‘nicer than God’ Christians? What would the church look like that was confident in striking the enemy with the sword of their mouth? May such a people arise!
Why are the nations agitated?
We see nations pressuring Israel to divide her/God's land. We also see God's judgments coming on nations that pursue this anti-biblical path with increased intensity. For example, America, the leader on this path, has gone from being feared and respected to being a nation under attack inside and out. No one fears a US stretched in wars that it has no will to win. Her economy is crumbling. Her land suffers from storms and drought. Violence is rampant in her streets and her sins are exposed for all to see. Still driving her deeper into God's valley of judgment, her leaders try to divide Israel's land.
Joel 3:1-2, "when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations....into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.
God's people are called to stand in the gap for Israel. Israel's leaders embrace the Church because they know it is the only friend Israel has. While there is a global remnant who do stand with Israel, yet a large portion of national denominations and Christian leaders continue to turn their back on the "apple of God's eye" (Zechariah 2:8).
Pray for Spiritual Awakening in America
God cannot ignore our sins any longer, the holocaust of our infants, our perversion, our immorality, our pride, has filled our "cup of iniquity" It is time to call our nation to repentance. I hope there is yet time! Just because our laws permit infanticide, does not change God's Law one iota!
